This restoration started with a minimum of parts. The chassis would normally have been scraped due to the condition. A major problem was in the guide flag tab. Someone had drilled it out for who knows what. This was repaired for a standard ID guide hole.
Since an original Champion can motor was unavailable, a close copy was assembled. Also in order to be runable on modern tracks without track glue, the rear tires were silicone coated. RiggenHO supplied an original clear body painted to period looks. A
